Tree planting for carbon offsets
Tree planting is recognised internationally as a practical short-term solution to offsetting carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. For businesses, it has a number of benefits:
- An easy and cost effective way for businesses to offset their carbon emissions.
- Helps build brand image and makes a great story for external and internal communications. GreenFleet businesses are welcome to 'get their hands dirty' and plant their trees themselves. This is a great way to build staff team work and morale.
- An effective way to develop valuable connections with your local community without the time required to build and monitor the relationships.
The price for offsetting your vehicle carbon emissions naturally depends on the size of your vehicle and how far you drive annually. The table below will help you work this out.

GreenFleet Sustainable Driver Workshop
This workshop provides fleet drivers with techniques that can help them lower fuel consumption and operating costs as well as reducing the environmental effects of operating a vehicle. Costs are per person and exclude any travel expenses where delivered outside of Auckland and GST.
