Footprinting and carbon calculating
 
EBEX21® is a standard that assists landowners to create carbon credits through the regeneration of indigenous forest in New Zealand  Carbon credits are generated on these sites because growing trees and shrubs process atmospheric CO2, and store the carbon as wood and other biomass.  Regular field site audits are conducted to calculate how fast the trees are growing and how many carbon credits are available to sell. www.ebex21.co.nz

Catalyst R & D Annual Carbon Emissions calculator. This easy to use Excel based tool allows users to enter figures such as electricity usage, flights and vehicle mileage. CO2 emissions are then delivered using summary tables and graphs. Ride Info NZ - This is a free to use site for New Zealand that promotes carpooling by allowing you to advertise or request transport. www.rideinfo.co.nz 
Rideshare Software - a website-based software package developed by EECA  to put car drivers and potential passengers in touch with each other by e-mail. www.eeca.govt.nz
careshare.co.nz - is a free resource for car-sharing and car-pooling within New Zealand. Carshare.co.nz allows you to network with other like-minded travellers and organise your travel plans together. www.carshare.co.nz
Bus and Coach Association NZ - is the authoritative voice for the New Zealand bus and coach industry. www.busandcoach.co.nz
Campaign for Better Transport – CBT is a politically independent voluntary organisation that aims to be a strong and persistent advocate for alternatives to the private car, including public transport, cycling and walking. www.getmoving.org.nz
