     Title: Hybrid Scorecard

The Hybrid Scorecard has been developed by the Union of Concerned Scientists to compare hybrids with their conventional counterparts to determine how effectively automakers are installing hybrid technology into their respective fleets.

Although the scorecard relates to models available in the US, the hybrid vehicles available in New Zealand rate highly on the scorecard with the Toyota Prius and Honda Civic placed 1 and 2. Other Lexus hybrid models and the Camry Hybrid also score favourably. Click here to see the full list.
